Ayodele Ashiata Kadiri is a Nigerian qualified lawyer since 2016 when she graduated from the Nigerian Law School as the overall best graduating student (winning 13 prizes including (the Council of Legal Education’s Star Prize and the Stephenson Harwood LLP internship prize).

She is currently a Senior Associate, at Templars, an internationally ranked top-tier law firm in Nigeria. She is a key member of the financepractice group. She has been been ranked as a “Rising Star” by International Financial Law Review in the Mergers and Acquisitions, Capital Markets and Banking practice areas. She is also a disputes resolution enthusiast, and was an erstwhile African Regional Representatives for the London Court of International Arbitration Young International Arbitrators Group (LCIA-YIAG). She just concluded her tenure as the Chairman of the Young Lawyers Forum, Nigerian Bar Association (Lagos Branch).

She is the author of “The First Five Years:From Booksmart to Streetwise”, a memoir documenting the first five years of her career. She also wrote “The Wooing: 30 Days of Responding to Abba’s Ardent Pursuit” a book of daily devotions based on the Book of Esther.

She likes consuming and creating fiction, meeting people and trying out new things.
