Nnamdi Okose was born in Onitsha in Anambra State of Nigeria. He studied English (Literature) at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Universty, Awka in Nigeria, and Governance and Political Transformation at the University of the Free State Bloemfontein in South Africa.
He won the 2012 ANA/Esiaba Irobi prize for Playwriting. His plays have been staged by the Theatre Arts Departments of the University of Abuja and Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka. Some of his community plays have been staged in open, public places as tools for community development. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Abuja Literary Society.
Nnamdi is fascinated by African folklore, African Masks and the unity between man and spirits. He currently lives in Derby, the United Kingdom.
