The Place

‘There is a world that exists in me, in us, in anyone who is alive. This world cannot be seen, but whatever actions are carried out in it, is translated into the physical. In this world, there are no continents, no countries, no presidents, no world powers, and no struggle for supremacy. There isn’t the fear of earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, fire outbreaks, erosions and countless other natural catastrophic occurrences. There isn’t the fear of what the Nobel laureate, Wole Soyinka calls organic problems; that results in insurrections, political instability and insecurity, terrorism, extremisms at various levels, kidnaps and broad daylight murders. It is a world of thoughts. Thoughts are powerful and invisible, and are the keys to open the doors of nature. We are all products of what goes on in this world of thoughts. Even the Holy Bible says it clearly; as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he. Thoughts can make or mar. They created the airplanes, the cars, bicycles, houses, laptops, phones, and numerous other machines. We see these machines but we don’t see the thoughts that brought them into existence. I have learnt to relate with this other world’
